Waiver Wire Wishlist (Fantasy Football) - Week 11

Well, it was not an impressive week out of us on the Waiver Wire Wishlist. I should have known better than to suggest Teddy Bridgewater, but I truly thought I was on to something with the every-other-week success analysis. The likes of Elijah Moore was our top suggestion and it’s not like Jordan Howard or Devonta Freeman had bad weeks, they just didn’t have the big weeks we were accustomed to leading up to Week 10. But, Week 11 is a whole new week with a whole new list of suggestions. Let’s get into it.

I typically like to keep my suggestions around, or below, the 40-percent owned mark in both Yahoo and/or ESPN leagues. The format I’ll follow is one quarterback, two running backs, two wide receivers and one tight end. As always, the Streamable Defenses of the Week article will drop tomorrow (Tuesday) and Nate’s B-Team series will drop every Saturday. Be sure to follow We Know Fantasy (@WeKnowFantasy) on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook to keep up-to-date with all of our fantasy football content.

Bridgewater threw for just 226 yards and didn’t record a touchdown. Howard ran the ball 12 times for 83 yards and Freeman ran the ball 10 times for 35 yards with three receptions for 23 yards. Donovan Peoples-Jones had his worst week of the season, catching just one-of-five targets for 16 yards. Moore caught three-of-six targets for 44 yards and a score. Pat Freiermuth had the costly fumble in overtime that allowed the Lions to tie the game, but did catch five balls for 31 yards prior.

Week 10 Results

Teddy Bridgewater (Denver Broncos) - 9.04 points

Jordan Howard (Philadelphia Eagles) - 8.3 points

Devonta Freeman (Baltimore Ravens) - 8.8 points

Donvan Peoples-Jones (Cleveland Browns) - 2.6 points

Elijah Moore (New York Jets) - 13.4 points

Pat Freiermuth (Pittsburgh Steelers) - 6.1 points

Week 11 Suggestions

Quarterback

Tua Tagovailoa (Miami Dolphins) - Owned in 23% of Yahoo and 36% of ESPN leagues

Week 11 Matchup: @NYJ

Tua has already been named the starter for the Dolphins in Week 11 after coming in to take over for the struggling Jacoby Brissett. Tua came in during the Thursday Night game to lead the Dolphins to a victory over the Baltimore Ravens. Prior to the Ravens’ game and the Texans’ game he missed, Tua threw the ball at least 39 times and at the most, 47 times. He’s going to throw the ball a lot and have a lot of opportunities to put up fantasy points, especially with his schedule ahead. The Dolphins will get the likes of the Jets, Panthers and Giants before they hit their bye week.

Runningbacks

Rhamondre Stevenson (New England Patriots) - Owned in 32% of Yahoo and 29.1% of ESPN leagues

Week 11 Matchups: @ATL

Who knows if Damien Harris will be back in Week 11, but all things point towards that happening. However, as much as I hate to do it, I have to suggest Stevenson. The New England Patriots’ backfield is one of the hardest in the league to predict, but the rookie had himself a breakout game in a complete domination of the Cleveland Browns. He ran the ball 20 times for 100 yards and two touchdowns while catching four passes for 14 yards. Knowing that Bill Belichick will mess with things next week, you still have to use a top waiver priority on Stevenson this week.

Wayne Gallman (Atlanta Falcons) - Owned in 1% of Yahoo and 0.7% of ESPN leagues

Week 11 Matchup: vs. NE

Wayne Gallman was a surprise lead carrier for the Falcons in a Week 10 loss to the Cowboys. He led the team with 15 carries, compared to Mike Davis’ four. Mike Davis has yet to produce through ten weeks as the “RB1” in Atlanta, which throws up some major flags. Cordarrelle Patterson is dealing with a sprained ankle that he suffered during the Dallas game as well. Although never actually ruled out, he played a season low in snaps. Gallman may be handed the lead role in Atlanta and is owned in less than one-percent of leagues.

Wide Receivers

Marcus Johnson (Tennessee Titans) - Owned in 1% of Yahoo and 0% of ESPN leagues

Week 11 Matchup: vs. HOU

Marcus Johnson has emerged as the Titans’ number two receiver behind A.J. Brown with Julio Jones hitting the IR. Last week against the Saints, Johnson caught five-of-six targets for 100 yards. This Titans’ team is on a six game win streak and is playing well on both offense and defense. Johnson is owned in less than 1% of leagues, so he will be available in every league.

Jamal Agnew (Jacksonville Jaguars) - Owned in 9% of Yahoo and 9.4% of ESPN leagues

Week 11 Matchup: vs. SF

Jamal Agnew is becoming what we thought Laviska Shenault would be. He’s seen at least five targets in the Jags’ last four games and has a 12 target game in the middle of that stretch. On top of the receiving targets, he ran the ball three times for 79 yards and a score against the Colts last week. It’s obvious the Jags are going to try to get the ball into Agnew’s hands as much as possible. It’s time you get Agnew into your hands.

Tight End

Dan Arnold (Jacksonville Jaguars) - Owned in 27% of Yahoo and 28% of ESPN leagues

Week 11 Matchup: vs. SF

Two Jaguars in one Waiver Wire Wishlist article? Am I insane? The short answer to that is yes, but for other reasons than suggesting two Jags. Like Agnew, Arnold is being heavily targeted by Trevor Lawrence every week. He’s seen at least five targets in every week since Week 5 and is averaging eight targets a game in the three games since the Jags’ bye week. Volume is key when it comes to tight ends. Arnold has the volume to be a contributor.
