Since the NFL Trade deadline has come to an end, we look towards the fantasy football trade deadline, which is quickly approaching (Depending when your league does it). If you are looking to make a change to you team, here are four players who could help spice up your team.
Buy Low
DJ Moore, WR, Carolina Panthers: First up on my list is Moore who, over the last month is currently WR44. Even after Sunday his value could even go down further with a tough match-up against the Titans. This is the time to buy him for cheap since he is badly under-performing due to tough match-ups and 'The Christian McCaffrey Effect' in Carolina. He has shown promise this season with fives games over 50 yards. His downfall is that he currently has one touchdown on the season which can hurt his value. After week 10, Moore’s match-ups get easier with two games versus Atlanta and decent match-ups against the Saints, Colts and Washington. He is the Panthers' number one receiver and should remain that even if Cam Newton does come back this season.
Possible bait to trade: TY Hilton, Stefon Diggs, Brandin Cooks, Marvin Jones or Alshon Jeffrey
Carson Wentz, QB, Philadelphia Eagles: The Eagles' quarterback can't catch a break this fantasy season. He is being set up to fail by the leadership of this team but he still remains a top 12 QB on the season. Over the last few weeks, he has been dropping down as he has faced some of the hardest defenses in the league. This is a great time to buy him low especially after Sunday's game because he could have another poor performance. To add to that, he goes on bye in Week 10 then faces the Patriots in Week 11. Following Week 11, Wentz faces easier match-ups in Seattle, Miami, Giants and Washington, which half of those games are in your playoff runs. He has the weapons to succeed, so look to get him very low right now and have a stud for your championship run.
Try Trading: Kirk Cousins, Jared Goff or Josh Allen
Others for Consideration: The Saints, Royce Freeman, David Montgomery and Juju Smith-Schuster
Sell High
Stefon Diggs, WR, Minnesota Vikings: You know who is at an all time high right now? That man’s name is Stefon Diggs, who is currently wide receiver two over the last month. He has been in favor of having some of the easier match-ups for the month of October with the NFC East and the Detroit Lions. Unfortunately, all parties must come back to earth as the Vikings will get Adam Theilen back and will face a string of difficult match-ups moving forward. I expect the Vikings to get back to running the ball as they are already the second most usage running team this season. Due to the difficult match-ups and their tough defense, they should be in more low scoring games instead of the blowouts they have been having lastly. Sell Diggs before it’s too late.
Trade for: D.J. Moore, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Calvin Ridley or Julian Edelman
Devonta Freeman, RB, Atlanta Falcons: We all remember the terrible start of the season for Freeman. Over the last month he has been a top 12 running back. He has had easier defenses over that span. The Falcons are ready for a rebuild with another losing season. To add to it, the Falcons almost traded him before the trade deadline so they aren’t committed to him anymore. They may get other running backs involved to see what they have. Plus the rushing yards won’t be there since the team will be playing catch up the rest of season. With tough match-ups coming up it may be a good chance to seek high on freeman.
Trade for: Le'Veon Bell, a double play for Barkley or Kamara
Others for Consideration: Kyler Murray, DeAndre Hopkins and Tevin Coleman
